Farrer Kane wins media relations account for pioneering fertility clinic

Create Fertility, the world's leading pioneers in natural cycle and mild IVF, has appointed communications agency Farrer Kane to run its media relations activity in the UK.

Create Fertility was founded by internationally renowned fertility expert Professor Dr Geeta Nargund. It is the first clinic in Europe to offer women natural cycle and mild IVF: a safer, more affordable and less invasive alternative to conventional IVF treatment.

Farrer Kane is working with Create Fertility to boost the clinic's profile and build awareness of its ethical approach, amongst both the medical community and wider consumer audiences.

The clinic is about to embark on trials for an innovative 'no frills' IVF treatment that cuts out the need for expensive laboratories and could bring costs down to under £1,000 per cycle, less than 50% of the current cost of traditional methods. Professor Nargund is the first specialist to bring the treatment, originally designed for developing countries, to the UK, giving women here a choice that many could not otherwise afford.

Beth Farrer, Director at Farrer Kane said, "It is exciting to be working with Create Fertility and help raise awareness that natural and mild IVF works, that it avoids the health risks associated with high doses of fertility drugs, and that costs do not have to be prohibitive. We want to help them reach the many people out there affected by fertility issues."
