Beth began her communications career at Grandfield, a large corporate and financial agency. Here she worked across multiple account teams gaining exposure to a range of clients including major corporates, financial institutions and international law firms.
She then helped launch a specialist legal consultancy before being recruited by Spada, where she was tasked with developing the firm's professional services practice. She was made a Board Director of the agency in 2009. Over the last 11 years Beth has advised clients across a range of issues from handling the media element of merger communications to corporate positioning and crisis management.
Alex entered the world of communications straight after University when he founded the film production company, Ratnaike & Kane. This allowed for many creative adventures from filming the Tamil Tigers in Sri Lanka to putting on interactive art events with a crew of London graffiti artists.
Following a spell in New York and time in the world of headhunting, Alex joined Spada, a PR agency focusing on the professional services sector. During his 12 year stint, Alex honed his media relations, branding and communications skills on a range of clients across the property, construction, environmental and corporate sectors. He was Managing Director of the agency from 2009-2012.
Jonathan brings Farrer Kane outstanding experience in advising teams and individuals on strategic planning and business development, drawing on his board level experience with global organisations and leading consulting firms.
Alongside Jonathan’s non-executive directorship at Farrer Kane, he is currently Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer at Kantar, home to some of the world’s leading research, data and insight companies. As part of the global executive committee he leads on a number of areas including business planning, organisational development and change, and digital strategy.
His career spans senior level roles at consultancies Tyler Mangan, Heidrick & Struggles and KPMG Consulting, as well as innovative global companies including market research firm TNS, where he was Chief Commercial Officer and Director of Strategy & Communication.
Jonathan’s insight and passion for supporting organisations going through rapid transformation and growth is of invaluable support to Farrer Kane.
After a brief stint in market research, Clo's career in communications began at a PR agency specialising in financial and professional services. She then moved to Fishburn, a top 20 communications consultancy, where she advised clients including BT, the BBC and the Department for Transport, on issues ranging from media and stakeholder relations to crisis management and corporate social responsibility.
Clo joined Farrer Kane in 2013 as an Associate Director and works across both B2B and B2C accounts.

Helen began working in corporate communications over 15 years ago and has both in agency and in house experience. She has devised and run campaigns for clients across a number of sectors including legal, property and the wider B2B market. Post her initial spell in a London professional services agency, she moved in house to the corporate communications department at English Heritage where she ran external communications for national projects as well as for three of the organisation's local teams.
Helen now works as Head of Content where she undertakes research, digital and copywriting tasks on a range of B2B and B2C campaigns.
After turning her hand to editing a national publication and writing policy for Government, Daniela moved to the UK 15 years ago to pursue a career in communications and PR. She has worked in-house for leading UK and multinational companies, including Baker McKenzie and HBOS, in the legal and financial services sectors.
Daniela has led teams internationally, providing strategic advice to management, and implementing internal and external communication programmes. She has considerable experience in corporate communications, integrated media programmes, social media, video production, staff communications and corporate responsibility. Daniela has advised on merger communications, crisis management, and on how to successfully implement change within organisations.
Catherine started her career in financial recruitment before moving to the communications sector joining a reputation management agency, Lansons. Catherine has a wealth of experience of working across a wide range of integrated client accounts in both the B2B and B2C space. She is well versed in the use of content creation, social media, campaign execution and media relations to create a favourable environment for brand awareness, ultimately to drive sales.
Catherine has advised a variety of clients including established household names, white labelled services and start-ups. She has worked across a range of sectors including financial services, FinTech, employee benefits, insurance, lifestyle, SME, energy, consumer, retail, legal, mortgage, construction and health.
Past clients have included uSwitch.com, Societe Generale Private Banking Hambros, Elevate Credit, Assurant, the Building Societies Association, Capita and Boost Capital.
Charlotte started her career as a trainee accountant before switching to the communications sector, joining a boutique professional services agency. She then spent six years with Spada, a mid-sized B2B agency where she ran brand building campaigns for clients across a range of sectors, including legal, accountancy and property.
Charlotte has a breadth of communications experience, from devising and managing communications campaigns, conducting client and sector research projects through to advising clients on a range of crisis remits.
Senior Account Manager
Before embarking on a career in PR and communications, Jocelyn spent several years as a journalist at leading B2B companies specialising in creative insight, research and advisory, first reporting on fashion and retail at global trend forecaster WGSN and then as Style & Retail Editor at Stylus.
She then joined SE10, an international business-to-business PR agency specialising in the construction, technology, logistics, energy and retail industries, where she advised a number of multinational companies on their internal and external communications campaigns, and assisted clients with corporate communications, strategy planning and development, copywriting, social media, media relations and stakeholder engagement. With strong experience in a B2B environment, she understands the best way to help large companies develop editorial strategies that ensure effective communication with the public and employees.
Poppy got her first taste of communications during her time at Cambridge University, when she secured an internship with one of Scotland's largest PR agencies. Post-graduation she followed this with an internship at a London marketing agency where she gained exposure to a number of communication disciplines from copywriting to participating in the development of brand strategy.
At Farrer Kane, Poppy works across a diverse range of clients and service lines: from helping B2B firms within the legal, engineering and recruitment sectors improve their media footprint to working on a B2C public relations and awareness campaign for a high-profile fertility group.
Whilst at the University of Manchester studying Anthropology, Caroline enjoyed internships at several agencies including Blue Rubicon and Brunswick, where she discovered her keen interest for PR and communications. Working across corporate and political client teams Caroline developed analytical and research skills as well as honing her writing abilities creating daily news bulletins.
Following her graduation, Caroline took time off to travel from Australia to Central America, before relocating to London. Caroline works with a number of Farrer Kane’s B2B clients.
After graduating from the University of Oxford with a degree in modern history, Max secured an internship with a chartered surveying practice. Here he gained valuable marketing and content development experience along with a greater interest in, and understanding of the UK property market.
Max went on to secure another position, this time with PR agency Seven Dials where he assisted the team across a number of consumer accounts. At Farrer Kane, Max works across a range of client accounts in the legal, property and medical sectors.
Max benefits from a marketing background having previously undertaken an in-house marketing role for a leading educational provider specialising in summer courses. This role encompassed a range of communication and marketing initiatives, from devising and running email marketing and social media campaigns, through to networking on behalf of the company at industry events throughout the UK and in Eastern Europe. The role also involved extensive copywriting assignments ranging from brochures to press releases.
Keen to build on this experience and diversify his communication skill set, Max joined Farrer Kane, where he now works on client accounts across the legal, property and construction sectors. His role at the agency is multifaceted and allows him to harness his love for writing, underpinned by a degree in English from the University of Oxford.
Emily works across a range of B2B and B2C accounts with a particular focus on the property and professional services sectors. She supports account teams on a number of brand building remits across multiple channels.
Emily joined the agency with a marketing background having previously worked in the sales and marketing department at Rhokett, a luxury desserts company where she worked on the company’s key retail accounts, including Marks & Spencer, Waitrose, Sainsbury’s and Tesco. Her role included product, market and competitor research, the results of which were used to evolve and expand product development. Emily also coordinated all social media activity as part of the company’s broader brand building customer awareness programme.
Having being exposed to the world of marketing Emily was keen to pursue a career that would allow her to broaden her communications ability and make more use of the skills she developed whilst studying history at Exeter.
Having graduated from university as a D&AD student award winner, Mark began his career in London working for SEA Design, a highly respected design consultancy. During this time he honed his craft as a graphic designer working in the fields of branding, the arts and publishing.
Mark was then headhunted by Tom Hingston Studio, a world renowned design studio specialising in music packaging and brand identity. Here he became a key member of a small team working across a wide range of fields spanning music, fashion, film, advertising, publishing, digital and branding.
Over the last ten years he has worked with clients such as the BBC, Virgin Media, Guinness, Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, Glenfiddich, Phaidon Press, Smirnoff, Massive Attack, Grace Jones and Links of London.
Dudley spent his formative years in West Sussex, where he showed an early and close dedication to the natural and built environment, with a particular passion for reporting on the county’s vertical street furniture.
His talents soon led him to seek broader horizons. At Farrer Kane, his nose for a good story has quickly made him a great asset to the team, where his uncanny ability to sniff out every possible angle is much appreciated. He is a gifted listener, hearing the rustle of issues relevant to Farrer Kane clients at great distances.
One of Dudley’s key areas of interest is keeping workplace stress to an absolute minimum, to ensure the Farrer Kane team is the most focused and productive it can be. He advocates regular exercise, and the occasional power nap to clear the build up of tension.
