When we began work with Franklin the firm's founder Michael Shaw was at the start of his journey to build a new luxury lifestyle management consultancy. He had never engaged with the media before, and the fledging company was yet to gain a foothold in the lifestyle publications read by his high net worth target clientele.
Michael's concept for Franklin was to deliver bespoke lifestyle services to the global elite, in a very different way to the firms already operating in that market. To do this he drew on his wealth of experience within the Royal Household. We worked with him to leverage that expertise and translate it into coverage across influential national, international and trade titles. Franklin's profile was transformed with pieces in the Daily Mail, the Financial Times, LUX, The Lady and a regular column in Hotel Owner magazine. The coverage showcased his insight and advice on topics as diverse as party planning, caring for valuable pieces of art, transporting super cars and British service standards.
After we had worked with Michael for just 6 months, as well as gaining substantial media coverage, Franklin had secured a place on the preferred suppliers list of one London's best-known private client law firms and interest from a documentary team pitching an idea to Channel 4. We also helped him revamp his presence on LinkedIn - revitalising contacts and relationships to generate new leads.
