Farrer Kane’s work on Free Periods campaign shortlisted for PR Moment award

It’s been our privilege to work with Free Periods and inspiring individuals including Gemma Abbott, Clegg Bamber and Amika George on their campaign to educate schools to opt in to the Government scheme offering free period products.

With coverage across national, broadcast and digital media, and huge engagement on social, we are proud to have played a small part in helping to spread the word. The work by Free Periods has made an incredible difference to young people around the country – already encouraging three quarters of secondary schools and nearly half of primary schools to sign up to receive the free products their pupils needs to make sure they don’t miss out on any time in the class room.

We’re very proud that the campaign has been recognised in the PR Moment Awards 2021 and shortlisted for Best Not For Profit campaign.

Post pandemic, period poverty is still affecting young people in the UK, as well as around the world – so it’s more important than ever to join the #PeriodRevolution and keep raising awareness of where schools can get help to support their pupils.
