Farrer Kane team grows with addition of two new PR Assistants

Latest recruits Amber Bains and Emily Brazier have joined the agency, both in the role of PR Assistant, and are already making their mark.

Amber gained her love and interest in PR and Communications with an internship at a Leeds-based PR firm, after completing a year in industry in the Civil Service as part of her degree. She additionally gained valuable experience in creative writing, brand-building and media campaigns as the Communications Officer for Leeds University Union Netball Club.

She comes to the agency after graduating from the University of Leeds with a Class I in BA History (Industrial), specialising in social and political history and British politics. She is working with client teams across several industry sectors including law, health, and property.

Emily’s interest in PR began with an internship at a communications agency in Dubai, where she worked across sectors such as hospitality and transport. Finding she loved the fast pace and variety of agency work, this role set her on a path that led her to Farrer Kane.

Emily holds a first-class degree in English from the University of Nottingham, where she studied both language and literature, developing strong analytical and writing skills. After graduating, she made a home in Hong Kong for three years, working in operations for an educational charity.

Alongside training and managing a team of English tutors, Emily worked on the charity’s communications and branding, gaining valuable in-house experience crafting effective messaging. She is now putting this background to good use with us, and already honing her media relations skills with B2B clients.

Welcome to the team Amber and Emily!
